Assumptions
1. You are starting from scratch.
2. You have existing projects you really want to "backup" better
3. You have a Linux or Unix box available through a LAN (or through the internet.) I am going to use Red Hat as my example distro. I'm also going to talk about using CVS in Eclipse.
4. You live in the bigger world where Windows is still part of your profession/life.
